I was just wondering where Christina Aguilera had been lately. Well, I know she had a baby but she still hadn’t made any public rounds so I was wondering if motherhood was keeping her well occupied.

Vanity Fair has canceled the most coveted party of the year in support of the writers strike. The public in constant search of escapism has had a year of continuous press regarding mental degradation and an overwhelming amount of drug addiction.

The award season would usually be a time of elegant garb, fantasy moments and whirlwind parties a need for the pubic to experience fantasy outside of a sometimes very cruel reality but so far into the new year that will not be the case. You want to question the timing of some events but you can’t for those that will benefit from its success.

In my mind I see a future far more exciting and full of joy as opposed to the drama of recent events and a new found fascination with inspiring people as opposed to those who appear to be spiraling out of control. Vanity Fair aims to return next year to continue its fantasy soiree but if it were me pulling the strings I would party in 2008 like it were 1999.

I say this to myself every time I watch Girls Next Door, “Hugh Hefner is running a real legalized brothel.” I mean really, you have a house full of naked women running around with all of these tawdry sex parties going on all the time what else is it supposed to be. I also never knew until today that he is legally married to former playmate Kimberly Conrad and they have a sixteen year old son together. He also has two other children over the age of 50! My gosh that to me is just too much. Hugh has discovered the fountain of youth to a level that no one would ever believe and now possibly another baby will be added to the bunch (double wow.)

Anyways check out his show Girls Next Door it is actually pretty amusing and you will marvel at how he keeps up with the girls as if he is still 25 years old…Amazing I tell you, simply amazing.
